The Mashool Hayim association, Ben Harel and all the volunteers
I have been sick with cancer for about five years and a few months ago I chose to stop the treatments, to make a list of things that I want to accomplish, the first of which was to go and take a dip in the sea, which was not possible during the winter months.
This week the wish came true above and beyond all my and my family's expectations.
A member of the Mashool Ha'im association came to meet and get to know me in order to tailor the experience to me precisely.
On the day we scheduled, Ben arrived with a trained paramedic, Khalil from Yossi Ambulance in a new and comfortable ambulance and with great sensitivity I was transferred to the ambulance that drove me to Gordon Beach in Tel Aviv.
Family members and close friends were waiting for me there.
Everything went smoothly and at my own pace. We ate fine sushi that Ben brought for my choice (there were several options) and most importantly I took a dip in my favorite sea in a special vehicle.
It was a wonderful morning thanks to the association, Ben and the volunteers.
Thank you very much for everything, keep making your dreams come true and doing good
