Hello, my name is Victoria Noa.
I am a patient at the hospice in Tel Hashomer, and in one of the conversations with the dear social worker who treats me, she asked if there is something or a dream that could bring me joy these days. She mentioned that there is a special and magical organization called Walk of Life Foundation that cares for terminally ill patients like me.
I immediately thought of my dear 6-year-old son and the quality time I could spend with him since we haven't met outside the hospice walls for many months.
We really wanted to fly in the sky with a hot air balloon, but due to the current war circumstances, it wasn't possible. However, Ben from the organization and my social worker didn't give up and asked if there was something else I could wish for on his behalf.
The dear organization made sure to fulfil my son's wish for a new Sony PlayStation from the store with three exciting games so he wouldn't be bored and have variety. They made sure to come here especially and be part of the event where I gave my son the gift. It was emotional and special!
There are good people along the way, and Ben from Walk of Life Foundation - you are undoubtedly one of them who loves to do good for people and does so with a kind demeanour and a personal approach that warms the heart.
Thank you for the initiative, creativity, and the strength to keep moving towards a happy world 🌞 May you be blessed with all good things 🌾🙌🏽🌻🫶🏽
